My name is Tristan, and this is my testimony.
My journey with God began about a year ago, and if I'm going to be completely honest, it hasn't always been easy.
People sometimes make it sound as though walking with Christ will make life easy, but that simply isn't true. Following Jesus doesn't mean we'll never struggle, never feel lost, or never have bad days. There will be difficult seasons, moments of doubt, and times when our faith is tested. There will also be good days, moments of peace, and reminders of God's love.
But through it all, I want to encourage you to keep seeking Jesus and never give up on your faith. The enemy wants to pull us away from God, but we must keep turning back to Him, even when life gets difficult.
Faith isn't about having a perfect life. It's about continuing to trust Jesus, even when life isn't perfect.
Over two years ago, I was struggling with depression, anxiety, insecurity, pride, greed and lust. I had a terrible view of myself and honestly felt like I was becoming a person I didn't want to be. Looking back, I recognise so many things in my character that needed to change.
I was also involved in cybercrime. I had developed coding and technology skills, but I was using those abilities in the wrong way. Instead of using my knowledge to help people, I was using it to hurt them.
Eventually, my actions caught up with me, and I found myself in a jail cell because of blackmail.
That night is something I will never forget.
I was lying on a rock-hard bed, looking calm on the outside, but inside I was filled with worry. I kept thinking about what would happen to me and how I would survive if I ended up in prison.
Then, for a split second, a thought about Jesus crossed my mind. I thought about the possibility of choosing a different path in life, turning things around and using my abilities to help others instead of harming them.
That moment made me think differently about the direction my life was heading.
Praise Jesus, I didn't end up going to prison. I was given a second chance, and I don't take that lightly.
I don't share this because I'm proud of the things I did. I share it because I want others to understand that our mistakes don't have to define the rest of our lives. We must take responsibility for our actions, learn from them, and choose to do what is right.
My knowledge of technology hasn't disappeared, but my purpose for using it has changed. I want to use my skills in a positive way, to help people, solve problems and make a difference.
If you have skills, talents or knowledge, use them to build people up, not tear them down. Use what you have to help others, not hurt them.
I created FAITH to glorify Jesus Christ and encourage others to live out their faith.
To me, FAITH is about more than clothing. It's about representing what you believe in, remembering who you follow, and encouraging others to put Jesus at the centre of their lives.
I want this brand to be a reminder that faith isn't just something we talk about or wear on our clothes. It's something we live out through our choices, our actions and the way we treat other people.
My hope is that FAITH will encourage people to be bold in their faith, stand firm in what they believe, and never be ashamed of Jesus.
Everything I want this brand to represent comes back to one purpose: to glorify Jesus and encourage others.
If there's one thing I want you to take away from my testimony, it's this: Jesus loves you unconditionally. His love is not something you have to earn by pretending to be perfect.
But God's love isn't an excuse to continue living in sin without repentance. We are called to turn away from sin, seek forgiveness, and strive to live in a way that honours Him. None of us is perfect, and we all need God's grace, guidance and forgiveness.
I encourage you to seek Jesus for yourself. Get to know Him, read His Word, pray, and build a relationship with Him. Don't just follow Him when life is going well; turn to Him when life gets difficult, too.
Jesus is everything to me, and I want my life to reflect that. I want to keep growing, keep learning, and keep becoming the person God wants me to be.
And remember this: whatever skills you have, whatever opportunities you receive, and whatever path you choose in life, use them for good. Help others. Encourage others. Be honest. Take responsibility for your mistakes, and don't let your past stop you from choosing a better future.
I am still growing in my faith, and my journey is far from over. But I'm grateful for the second chance I've been given, and I want to use it to honour Jesus Christ.
All glory to God.
